Such a well kept hotel, the double room may be small for some but has all you need. And I have to appreciate the 2 bottles water daily, truly rare these day. Loved the quiet street (but still about 3 blocks from the centre), the courtyard, the terrace. All thumbs up!

Great value hotel - very clean, comfy bed and towels. Shower also had good water pressure! The roof terrace was nice to relax on and had nice views. Walkable location to all tourist spots, bars and restaurants (albeit up a small hill). Owners always friendly and helpful - we were able to check into our room early (without requiring!) and also able to leave our bags after check out. I would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed my stay here! Room was clean, bed so comfortable and the hot water shower was reviving after my 7 hour bus journey from CDMX. The rooftop terrace was wonderful, nice soft breeze and beautiful view. Thank you! Appreciation to Brian for speaking English with me since my Spanish needs far more practice. Grateful!

We did search a bit, finally decided on this place: very calm and quiet for the region! Room was clean and everything worked! Sadly only Wifi was very slow from time to time. But this hotel offers a nice terrace on the rooftop, beautiful to hang out during sunsets

Great little hotel out of the way of most noise, but like most hotels had terrible acoustic padding between floors, coule follow conversations and hear toenails tap above my head. Just bring earplugs if you plan travelling Mexico in any case.

A hostel pretending to be a hotel or a hotel with the level of a hostel? Location is excellent, common areas are nice enough and there is a roof garden so you can enjoy a book or have a beer with friends. You can purchase cold beer at the front desk for a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. Always had warm water when needed. There were no reading lamps in our room so it was either the big bright ceiling lamp or nothing. Main problem is the noise: there is no acoustic isolation. barking dogs in the neighborhood or other guests talking or laughing will wake you up, so bring ear plugs. Our bathroom had a drain problem so there was always a sewer smell. Also the building materials used throughout are not up to the standards for hotel use. I wanted to go for a run early but the front door was locked and there was no one around to open it for me, even after ringing the bell and knocking on the reception door... This is the fourth hotel I've stayed in oaxaca and the others were worse and at about the same price, so next time in oaxaca I will probably stay here again and manage my expectations. It's a pity that you end up searching for the least unpleasant experience instead of the best...
